LANGHOLM Cornet Simon Richardson and his right and left-hand men Andrew Johnstone and Kevan Grieve won over some new fans when they dropped in on the mothers and toddlers’ group at Eskdale sports centre.
The star attraction at the mothers and toddlers’ group is Cornet Simon Richardson with his right and left-hand men Andrew Johnstone and Kevan Grieve, who meet, from left, Anna Kenny, Brady Wilson and Shannon Jardine
They all enjoyed coffee and cakes, along with barley banna.
The Cornet was asked to judge the ties and rosettes made by the youngsters. After asking his girlfriend Jill Oxley to help with a bit of extra advice, the Cornet presented the prize for best tie to Lewis Hall and best rosette to Ryan Wood.
Some of the children who were leaving the group to move to the nursery received books.
Shannon Jardine presented Cornet Richardson with a gift from the toddlers.
